Save The Devon Theater!

Thank you for visiting our site. No doubt you are here because you heard that the Devon Theater in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, PA has closed.

A lot of effort was put into revitalizing the Devon, transforming it into the beautiful performing arts theater it is today. Unfortunately, due to the State budget cuts last year, expenses are forcing its closure - one that we hope will only be temporary.

We are currently taking the steps to reopen the Devon, and make it better and even more successful than ever. Our dream is to have the Devon Theater fund many other community projects. But we will need help from many sources (people from the community, celebrities who are interested in The Arts in Philadelphia; and possibly a Secret Santa) to make it all happen.

We've been hearing from lots of people who want the Devon to open again - from local residents, politicians, people who had performed / managed shows, and the movement is growing!
